we parked near the singapore flyer, which explains all these close-ups. and you can actually see it move! (as compared to viewing it from kilometres away)




insisted on climbing all the way up the audience seats at the floating platform, where the view is very nice. :D but my photography sucks, so.





the actual exhibits were on the floating platform. it's cool! it has rubber floors! and there were a lot of people, of course.




yes this is super cool! just like harry potter had giant chess, 春到河畔 had giant chess too! :D and they let you walk through the portion that is supposed to be 楚河汉界.



luck for monkeys this year: you will irritate the hell out of your teachers this year. XD


overall, wasn't too bad. :D

today was really really crazy.
partly because i have cousins who are 7 and 10 and 13 and do the craziest things. (and not in a good way, too)
spent half my day babysitting restraining the one aged 7.
they're my favourite cousins. *shrugs*

we went to my aunt's place to celebrate.
my uncle who cooks like a 5-star hotel chef cooked. and it's the first time i'm eating it. um, long story behind it all.
so the food was really good. *o*
we walked round the long dinner table picking stuff we like to eat. XD

all my elder cousins brought their girlfriends, haha.

we did crazy and unethical and only-tolerable-if-kids-do-it things like play with the lifts.
the lifts are super cool, by the way.
because all the buttons are touch-sensitive, my cousin swiped his hand over the panel and selected all the floors.
so what happened was we had to clear them one by one, i.e. stop at every floor.
i always feel that my reasoning and logical thinking degrade a few years back when i'm with them.
i think we pissed off a few neighbours.

and like every year, the place becomes a gambling den in the afternoon.
we played daidi! and mahjong!

my 7 year old cousin. she is not what she looks, okay. (and yes, in a nonya outfit.) also, my nephew is her nephew, but they play together like they're in kindergarten together.
she kept wrenching my necklace from my neck and hitting my sister's spectacles.
i think she terrorizes all her teachers and friends at school. :D
okay, i'm not supposed to smile at that.
