there're about a hundred and more out there on the tree i can see from my window and flying all around, and i've been studying birds whenever i get fed up of integration, energy cycles, etc.
they sort of came back after they got culled last year, and every day at the same time they'll fly all around and alight on the antennaes and make a hell lot of noise because that's what crows are culled for.
but, you know, i have a fetish for birds on antennaes. shikatanai na.

next week will be purgatory, especially chem, which turned from my best science to my worst science. i do not comprehend a lot of things and took 5 hours to complete the paper. the despair felt from integration fades away into a corner in the presence of the horror of not being able to do chem. i shall henceforth unglue myself from the computer and DO WORK FASTER. do be prepared for i will plonk a lot of stupid chem questions on some of you out there.

the amazing thing is, you can click on the different things and they bring you to somewhere else. like, if you click on the bus, it'll bring you inside the bus. click on the end of the road to go to a new street. click on the record shop's signboard and you can go in. open doors that link to weird places (there was a fascinating and sadistic room somewhere, i think it was room 101 in the green house).
the best thing is, THEY'RE ALL DRAWN BY NAKAMURA YUUSUKE. :D RECORD SHOPS AND BACK ALLEYS IN FULL SUPERFLAT 3 COLOUR GLORY. i was saving pics like crazy.

i was listening to the radio in the morning, when it went "piak" and died. because our block's electricity got cut off.
so basically i spent the whole day at home without electricity.
the COMPUTER wasn't working (oh gawds it was torture). the fans weren't working. the handphone charger wasn't working. the electone wasn't working. the bath heater wasn't working. the fridge wasn't working (i 吓到 when i opened the fridge because there was no light).
what was left: HOMEWORK, my pile of library books, my phone and my GC. (oh, and mysteriously the home phone.)
i was seriously considering crashing someone else's house but ... you know, toa payoh doesn't really have crashable houses.
ended up alternating between a long overdue chem tutorial, deathly hallows, another library book and food. and didn't do much homework. nor revision. i'm pathetic.
anyway the electricity's on now and i feel normal again and i love electricity to death.

on a side note, i think i got facebook phishing email. because the sender's address is different from the usual one, and it said xy and weng jue invited me to facebook (whose invitations i accepted long long ago), and the format's all wrong, AND they tried to make me sign up for a new account.
