感触良多
blocks are OVER!
getting owned by telomeres was not cool. they are supposed to be my favourite chromosome parts.
my brain is supposed to be mushy and fluffy and in dreamland now, but somehow a lot of things happened after bio that made me think about life in general (here we go again) and it is not in full swing post-blocks celebratory mood now. but i got post-bio adrenaline rush and i don't feel like sleeping!
takeaways:
1. CT changing, bio tutor changing, i DO NOT LIKE the in-your-face elitism of the school, it is freaking irritating. just when bio was going so well, too. i'll really go break someone's neck if the new teacher kills of my interest. (but i shall have faith in the bio department.) okay i shall not play a part in spreading rumours. changing teachers never works, look at what happened with greg goh. ):
2. jap class dinner which consisted of 6 people (haha), of which 5 are hc. =.= okay, it's considered an achievement considering the size and diversity of our class (that's about 40% turnup! :D). and then we talked about stuff you don't get to talk about in hc. :D and did the AA "itadakimasu" at yoshi. (oh it's DAMN SHUANG to do itadakimasu with jap people. and when you do "gochisou sama" people complete it for you with "deshita". :D) it was, oh, all very interesting.
3. i don't like people spoiling my image of other people. i really really don't. it's like being unfair to them and not giving me a chance to get to know them. of course, they may turn out to be what everyone says, but hearing impressions from other people instead of getting impressions of a person myself seems like poisoning the well (XD) too much and it makes me uneasy somehow.
4. learning to appreciate my school although we don't have classrooms and it is damn elitist, because there are people out there longing to get in and regretting they didn't. oh, and appreciating ny a lot more, too. (it's not like i hated the place, you know, it was just the uniform.)
5. mrs foo is amusing. not in a bad way. because i'm not on the receiving end. sorry for being evil. today's pre-bio lecture and everything was good for my nerves.

i'm failing all my tests it's exhilarating. it's like ... see how much you can fail. i'm suddenly hit by the realization that my maths is so lousy and my chem is so lousy and my gp is so lousy and my jap is so lousy i can't even construct a sentence without grammatical errors these days. it's scary. only bio is keeping afloat.

いやいやしぶしぶ
wow i've abandoned posting for 1 week in favour of doing the class blog.
it's so stressful being a mod. hrrm. people have various divested interests.
anyway trawling through more than 50 skins gave me lots of inspirations! and good finds! (like how lineart is super nice etc.)
i want alex to draw stuff so i can scan and put as header. like that amazing guy drawing in front of me during CT session. *O*

oh yeah, i failed my maths test.
which was expected.
but it feels weird because i haven't hit rock bottom for anything since a long time ago. sec 1, maybe? i'm a bit worried.

I WANT VEDA EYES
last week's ep gave me a headache and this week's helped. slightly.
i like one-on-one better than fleet-on-fleet, maybe that's why.
anyway my only takeaways from this few eps was:
- DEAR MR BUSHIDO-REVERTED-HAMU AND HIS SCARRRRRRRRR.
- die nena dieeeeeee!
- die wang liu mei dieeeeeee!
- omg i now have a figurine of a dead guy! T.T
- veda eyes are PRETTTTAAAAAY! me want. or, me want all the cool people to have.
- the importance of haros in gundam society.
i hope more interesting things happen next week! and dammit, stop showing naked people floating around in shimmering particles!

1/1 scale gundam!
this has been around since last year.
and it's the old old old old gundam.
it doesn't do anything except lie there.
but it's still very cool!
you can climb into the cockpit and stare at the monitors!
or stand next to it on the platform with the railing and pretend you are a gundam technician!
they (whoever these wonderful people are) should make an exia/ 00 gundam. and i think they would kill themselves making tchan's big fat gundams.
anyway.
my parents started spring cleaning.
and i'm going to the national library later!
i've been thinking whether i should try to add my blogger comments back. (because i don't like cbox.) then you all can help me test it.
but will people get confused when presented with 2 commenting systems while i'm testing?
it's not like many people comment, anyway.

YES I KNEW IT!
finally seravee morphs into the nadleeh of season 2 - seraphim!
(though nadleeh sounds a lot nicer, and was a lot prettier too.)
but it's still lean and pretty and in trans-am mode! :D and it works like transformers. O: saves celestial being a lot of material on purgable parts.
seravee has hands everywhere, i swear.
tieria declares he is a human being! (and not a genderless amoeba, i assume.) but like we'll believe you. XD
anyway, the point is that bandai will come out with the gunpla soon and I WILL BUY IT WHEN I GO TO JAPAN.

i like bring! because he's different from ribbons! but he cut his hair ... ? (which is GOOD because his old hair was loser hair /:)
yes and now setsuna owes his whole life to ribbons. i wouldn't want to see ribbons in 00 gundam though ... feels wrong.

they probably used this in japan to fill up the gundam slot this week!
this is mostly what went through my head while watching. in order.

font, lovely font
i made gundam 00 font today!
actually i modified this font to look like the font sunrise uses. (the one on the gunpla boxes)
because the only difference between the two is that the capital letters "G" and "N" are different, and the height is different. (gundam's is flatter)
the "N" turned out a bit weird ...
but the "G" was okay.
i like the "0"s, haha. because that's the whole point of gundam, ain't it?
(who wants tell me! then i'll send you. :D i don't want to upload because
it's someone else's font.)
gimp 2.6.3 is out!
result: it looks and feels more like photoshop.

epic battle! piupiupiupiupiu
omg EPIC BATTLE! with big machines vs-ing each other! the nicest battle in the past few eps. (maybe because i can understand big machines blowing up each other)
although everyone knows celestial being will win, it was still very nice.
memento mori was so pretty when it blew up! can tell that the producers put in extra effort to make the scenes.
ribbons should be pissed off for the next few weeks. (i'm sorry i said all those things about you!)
lockon finally gets to show off his skills and earn a bit of respect from the others! after behaving not-up-to-standard for a while.
even the background music is epic. O:
and since when was healing care (or is it hilling, but i like the former better) in a-laws?
healing care is irritating. >< why they never let revive fight double-o why why why why whyyyyy.trans-am seravee has cannonball! mode! but cherudim's shield bits are way cooler. :Dyay the sadistic taisaa (was it?) with the grey hair is dead! unless he comes back with robot extensions or something. nah, i don't think he's important enough.hong long! お久しぶり!and this - ribbons is interested in setsuna??and there's a new character! called hercules. (what's with your naming system, sunrise?) who knows smirnov. and has the keys to his place ... should be interesting. too bad he's an oyaji, no new people to gawk at.haiyo anime-media forgot to code the digital snow to disappear when it touches the video screen so my whole epic battle took place in SNOW. urk.

bandai cheated me of my money!
BANDAI HAS CHEATED ME OF MY MONEY. T.T
because my poor hong long figurine has no hair!
at afa '08 (anime festival asia) we went to play the pay-money-and-turn-and-a-ball-falls-out machines.
this is what the paper in the plastic ball i spent $4 on promised:
note the hair...and THIS is how hong long looks like now:
"give me back my hair you evil bandai people!!!"guess i'm just really unlucky.
i checked and double-checked and triple-checked to see if i dropped the hair bit anywhere, but it's really not there.
i contemplated going to the place that produced the figurines (there's an address on the paper!) to demand for hong long's missing hair bit.
even better, maybe they will let me swap it for another figurine of my choice! *grins*
but it's not feasible and probably impossible, and it's not like he's bald O:
so hong long has to live with a rectangular hole at the back of his head.
しかたないなあー
also, trans-am is the name of a car! :D
